چکیده
Diabetic foot ulcers are recognized to be a severe complication of diabetes, increasing the risk amputation and death. The bacterial infection with virulent resistant bacteria as Proteus mirabilis greatly worsens wound may not treated conventional therapeutics. Developing new approaches target virulence can helpful conquer such infections. In current work, we evaluated anti-virulence activities widely used antibacterial metronidazole. minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) biofilm eradication (MEBC) were determined for selected antibiotics which P. was them in presence absence metronidazole sub-MIC. effect sub-MIC on factors production exoenzymes, motilities, adhesion formation, evaluated. Furthermore, molecular docking into essential quorum sensing (QS) proteins, performed. results revealed significant ability in-vitro inhibit antagonize its proteins. Moreover, markedly decreased MICs MBECs tested antibiotics. Conclusively, is plausible anti-QS agent that combined other adjuvant defeat aggressive

Genetic Diversity of Proteus Mirabilis Isolated from Urine Specimens by Box PCR
Introduction: Proteus mirabilis is one of the common causes of UTI.Multiple molecular methods are used to genotype bacteria. The polymerase chain reaction method is based on repeated sequences using BOXA1R primers for differentiation of bacteria. This study aimed to evaluate the genetic diversity of protease mirabilis isolated from urine specimens. Materials & Methods: In this descriptive cr...
متن کاملCatalase-negative Staphylococcus aureus isolated from a diabetic foot ulcer
We report a catalase-negative Staphylococcus aureus isolated from a 56-year-old male diabetic patient with foot ulcer who attended our surgery ward. Species identification was confirmed by Gram staining, standard biochemical tests and PCR amplification of the nuc and fem genes. Antibiotic susceptibility showed that the strain was sensitive to imepenem, chloramphenicol, amoxicillin, vancomycin a...

متن کاملLipoprotein from Proteus mirabilis.
The biosynthesis of a Proteus mirabilis outer membrane protein of molecular weight of approximately 7,000 was found to be relatively resistant to puromycin and rifampin, as is the case for the Escherichia coli liporotein. Furthermore, the existence of the lipoprotein in P. mirabilis was indicated by a comparison of the amino acid compositions of the purified free and bound forms of this protein...
